Israeli occupation forces carried out a new wave of attacks across the Gaza Strip on Sunday, killing 13 Palestinians and injuring 29 others, in continued violations of the ceasefire framework as bombardment and military operations expanded across several areas of the besieged enclave.

Medical teams in Gaza City reported that four Palestinians were killed and seven wounded when an Israeli strike targeted a civilian vehicle near Palestine Square in the Al‑Rimal neighborhood.

Doctors later confirmed the death of 14‑year‑old Hadeel Ayman Jondiyya, who succumbed to wounds sustained in an earlier Israeli attack on the city.

In southern Gaza, five Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike west of Khan Younis. A medical source said at least one person was killed and ten others wounded when Israeli aircraft bombed Al‑Rashid Street, contributing to the rising toll in the area.

Later in the evening, four Palestinians—including a woman—were killed when an Israeli drone fired a missile at a civilian vehicle and pedestrians near Al‑Buraq School in the Al‑Nasr neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City. Doctors at Al‑Shifa Hospital said several of the wounded were in critical condition.

Emergency crews also recovered the bodies of two Palestinians from a home hit by Israeli artillery in the Al‑Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City. Medical officials clarified that these fatalities were part of the day’s previously reported incidents, bringing the final confirmed toll to 13.

In northern Gaza, five Palestinians were injured when Israeli naval forces shelled an area west of Beit Lahia.

Israeli military operations continued across wide areas of the Strip. Eastern Khan Younis came under heavy artillery fire, while Israeli forces detonated residential buildings and housing blocks in several neighborhoods.

Tents and shelters for displaced families were also targeted, particularly in northern and eastern Gaza. Military vehicles fired smoke bombs north of Al‑Bureij refugee camp as drones flew at low altitude over Khan Younis.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its teams facilitated a new medical evacuation through the Rafah crossing, transferring 97 people, including 34 patients and 63 companions, for treatment outside Gaza.

The operation, coordinated with the World Health Organization, began at the PRCS field hospital in Al‑Mawasi, where medical teams organized and escorted the patients to ensure safe passage.

The organization said its crews continue to work around the clock despite severe field conditions and the collapse of Gaza’s health system, as the number of patients requiring evacuation continues to rise.

Sunday’s escalation comes as “ceasefire” negotiations continue in Cairo. Palestinian officials accuse Israel of evading its commitments by restricting aid entry, continuing military incursions, and intensifying bombardment.

According to Palestinian data, Israeli violations of the ceasefire since October 11 have killed 961 Palestinians and injured 3,020, while Israeli forces have taken control of more than 60% of the Gaza Strip.

Medical authorities earlier today reported that the cumulative death toll in Gaza has risen to 72,971 Palestinians, with 173,128 wounded since October 7, 2023, amid ongoing military operations and a deepening humanitarian crisis.
