On Thursday, January 2, 2025, Day 454 of its brutal and protracted military onslaught against the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military continued its genocidal bombing campaign in various regions, killing and injuring dozens of Palestinians, including women and children.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli missiles targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, killing 11 citizens and wounding 15 others.

He added that two Palestinian brothers were killed by Israeli artillery shells in the northern Gaza Strip, while occupation tanks bombed the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes fired missiles at a group of citizens, killing two Palestinians and injuring others in the town of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes fired missiles at a group of Palestinians, killing four citizens and wounding others in the Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City in the northern Gaza Strip.

He added that occupation forces bombed a site on al-Shaghaf Street in Gaza City, killing one Palestinian.

Also in the north, Israeli warplanes killed 10 Palestinians and wounded others after firing missiles at a gathering of citizens in Jabalia al-Balad.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli air force killed 9 Palestinians and injured others after occupation warplanes bombed a site east of Deir al-Balah in the center of the Gaza Strip.

He added that 2 Palestinians were killed and others were wounded when occupation forces bombed a group of citizens near the Palestine Roundabout in Gaza City, in the north.

An undetermined number of Palestinians were killed and others were wounded when Israeli warplanes bombed a gathering of citizens near the Bahlol station in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Medical sources announced, on Thursday, that since the beginning of the its military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the Israeli military has killed 45,581 Palestinians, and injured at least 108,438.

Israeli warplanes bombarded a gathering of citizens, killing four Palestinians near the Ashkelon Mosque in the Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City in the northern Gaza Strip.

In the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli warplanes bombed a building in Khan Younis, killing six citizens and wounding others.

He added that occupation warplanes bombed a vehicle in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in the center of Gaza City, killing three Palestinians.

The Israeli military killed two Palestinians and injured others after its warplanes bombed a gathering of citizens on Al-Thawra Street in Gaza City.

Additionally, the Israeli military killed seven Palestinians after it bombed a gas station in Al-Zawaida town.

Two Palestinian citizens were killed and others were wounded after Israeli warplanes bombed a gathering of citizens on Al-Lababidi Street in Gaza City.

Israeli forces killed one Palestinian and injured others after bombarding a site in the Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood of Gaza City.

Occupation forces killed three Palestinians after bombing a tent in the Hamad neighborhood of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

An undetermined number of Palestinian citizens were killed and others were wounded after Israeli warplanes bombed the Al-Danf family home, in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City.

In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli warplanes bombed the Al-Bureij refugee camp; no injuries were reported.

At least one citizen was injured after an Israeli drone bombed a site in the Musbah area, north of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, in addition to bombing a citizen’s home on Awni Dhahir Street in Rafah city.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli tanks fired artillery shells in the vicinity of the Al-Awda Hospital in the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, causing fires to ignite.

In Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip, occupation forces set fire to schools sheltering displaced people and homes in the vicinity of the Indonesian Hospital, while Israeli bulldozers demolished a wall of the hospital.

WAFA correspondent reported that occupation forces killed four Palestinian citizens and injured others after bombing the Habib family home in the Al-Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City.

He added that Palestinian journalist, Hassan Al-Qishawi was killed when an Israeli drone fired a missile at a site in Gaza City.

In the central Gaza Strip, the occupation military bombed a glass factory near the entrance to the Al-Maghazi refugee camp; no injuries were reported.

In the south, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike against the Al-Satar Al-Gharbi area in Khan Younis; no injuries were reported.

He added that five Palestinians were killed after the occupation air force fired missiles at the Sheikh family home in the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp.

At least 42 people killed by Israeli strikes in Gaza as stalled ceasefire talks set to resume

At least 42 people, including children, were killed in Gaza by Israeli strikes overnight and into Friday morning, hospital staff said, as sirens also sounded across Israel and stalled ceasefire talks were set to resume.

Staff at the Al Aqsa Martyrs hospital said more than a dozen women and children were killed in strikes that hit various places in Central Gaza, including Nuseirat, Zawaida, Maghazi and Deir al Balah. Dozens of people were also killed across the enclave the previous day, bringing the total of people killed in the past 24 hours to 56.

The Israeli army did not comment on the latest strikes. However, in a statement Friday, it said during the past day it had struck dozens of Hamas gathering points and command and control centers throughout Gaza, areas where Hamas had planned and executed attacks. The army said measures were taken to mitigate civilian harm, such as using precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
