On Wednesday, Day 313 of the ongoing genocide, Israeli missiles and shells killed and injured dozens of Palestinians, including children, women, and infants, in several parts of the devastated, destroyed, and besieged Gaza Strip, especially in Khan Younis.
The head of the government media office in Gaza, Ismael Thawabta, said the Israeli army continues to prevent the entry of aid trucks into the coastal region for the 100th day.
In Beit Hanoun, in northern Gaza, the army fired missiles and shells at several parts of the city, causing many casualties.
In Gaza City, the army fired a missile at a home, southeast of the city, killing three Palestinians, including a child, Tayyim Mohmmad Oleiwa, and wounding several others.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its medics transferred to the Baptist Hospital three slain Palestinians and several injured residents after the army bombarded a home for the Yassin family near the Zeitoun Center, east of the city.
In Nusseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza, the army fired missiles and shells at many homes and buildings, killing dozens of Palestinians, including children and women whose bodies were severely mutilated.
In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army fired a missile at a home in the Baten As-Sameen area, killing at least five Palestinians and wounding many others, including children and women.
The army also fired barrages of live rounds, missiles, and shells at the southeastern areas of Khan Younis, causing many casualties.
Also in Khan Younis, many casualties were reported when the army fired a missile at a residential tower in Hamad city, northwest of Khan Younis.
In Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost part, the army killed two Palestinian Civil Defense medics, bringing the number of slain medics to 82.
The army also fired a missile at the Arabiya area, north of Rafah, and the Bader area in Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah, killing at least two Palestinians and wounding many.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, released a video of its fighters targeting with shells Israeli soldiers who fortified themselves in the Indonesian Hospital, in the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah.
Al-Jazeera English said UNRWA informed the United Nations Security Council that the recent Israeli attack on a school in Gaza City, which killed more than 100 Palestinians and injured hundreds, was “far from an isolated incident,” adding that Israeli bombings of schools “occur with increasing frequency.”
Al-Jazeera added that the Israeli army ordered the Palestinians to evacuate more areas of the war-battered city of Khan Younis, and threatened to “act forcefully” to make them leave.
