A Palestinian child succumbed, on Saturday, as a result of critical wounds he sustained as a result of Israeli forces’ recent attack on the city of Ramallah, in the central occupied West Bank.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, the 12-year-old child, Mohammad Murad Ahmad Hoshiya, died this morning from live gunshot wounds inflicted on him by Israeli forces during a military invasion into Ramallah city.

Israeli forces have killed at least 37,551 Palestinians, mostly woman and children, and injured at least 85,911, since the beginning of the brutal military onslaught against the devastated Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, while thousands remain buried under the rubble.

Israeli Army Injures Two Palestinians, Abducts Two, In Ramallah

June 15, 2024

On Saturday dawn, Israeli soldiers shot and injured two Palestinians, one seriously, and abducted two others in two separate incidents, in the Ramallah governorate, in the occupied West Bank’s central part.

Many military vehicles invaded the Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah, stormed and ransacked homes, and abducted a Palestinian from Gaza, leading to protests.

During the protests, soldiers fired live rounds, resulting in injuries to at least two individuals.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) provided immediate medical assistance to the injured, including one person critically wounded by a live round to the head and another with injuries from live bullet shrapnel to the abdomen and foot. Both casualties were promptly taken to a hospital for further treatment.

In a separate attack in the neighborhood of al-Masayef in Ramallah, Israeli troops abducted another Palestinian, after they stormed and violently searched homes.

The frequent invasions and violations, warrantless searches, and abductions are carried out under the guise of abducting “wanted” individuals, often leading to protests, injuries, and even deaths among the Palestinians.

Israeli military law grants army commanders’ extensive powers over the daily lives of 3 million Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. This unchecked authority allows for arbitrary actions and decisions that impact the lives of Palestinians in the region, including abductions, home demolitions, land grabs, uprooting lands, and a variety of serious violations of International Law.
