On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted twenty Palestinians in several parts of the occupied West Bank, including fourteen from the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp south of Jericho in the northeastern West Bank.

In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, the soldiers abducted Farid Awad Zaghloul, 55, and his son, Mohammad Zaghloul, 24, from their homes in the Al-Mughayyir town, northeast of the city.

The town remained under strict Israeli closure for over two weeks after the army closed its eastern and western entrances, forcing the Palestinians to take longer, unpaved routes to enter or leave it.

In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, the army abducted Maher Turkman, from Wadi Burqin, after nine months of constant invasions to arrest him. The man was taken prisoner in the Al-Yamoun town, west of Jenin.

The Israeli army claims Turkman was behind a shooting that injured six Israeli soldiers on September 4, 2022, after targeting a bus transporting Israeli soldiers in the Northern Plains of the West Bank.

Turkman’s son, Mohammad, 17, died on October 14, 2022, from serious wounds he suffered with his cousin in the reported attack before the soldiers abducted them.

Also, the soldiers abducted a young man from the Al-Yamoun town, west of Jenin, after stopping him in the Al-Ghafar area between the town and Silat Al-Harithiya.

The soldiers also invaded and searched many areas in and around the villages of Ta’nak and Zabbouba, northwest of Jenin.

In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted a teenage boy, Jamal Yousef Hamayel, 16, from his home in Beita town, south of the city.

In the southern part of the West Bank in Hebron, the soldiers abducted Nasser Jibril Abu Mrer and his son, Mohammad, after invading their home in Yatta town, south of the city, and ransacking it.

In occupied Jerusalem, the army prevented hundreds of Palestinians from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque for dawn prayers and installed iron barriers at all entrances and gates leading to the holy site.

In addition, the army prevented all Palestinians, under the age of fifty, from entering Al-Aqsa.

Furthermore, Israeli soldiers shot thirteen Palestinians, including one who suffered life-threatening gunshot wounds, and abducted fourteen during an Israeli military invasion into the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp south of Jericho in the northeastern West Bank.

The abducted Palestinians are Omar Nasser Al-Hinnawi, Mohammad Issa Hajjaj, Mohammad Adel Sharaf, Eyad Hmeidat, Mohammad Fawzi Awadat, Ibrahim Yousef Yaghi, Ala’ Al-Bitar, Mohammad Fawwaz Balhan, Ramzi Fawwaz Balhan, Fayez Ramzi Balhan, Rami Yahia Al-Jammal, Zeid Mohammad Raslan, Ibrahim Al-Allam and Ala Abu Al-Ata.
