In pre-dawn raids Monday, Israeli troops abducted 15 Palestinians from several parts of the West Bank, mainly Nablus, Jenin and Hebron. The troops also raided the home of a prominent Palestinian journalist in Bethlehem.

On Monday, in a pre-dawn raid, the Israeli occupation forces abducted four Palestinians from the town of Ya`bad and the village of Kafr Qoud, in the Jenin governorate.

The Israeli occupation forces abducted the two freed prisoners, Yasser Muhammad Ali Amarneh and Abdullah Ahmed Herzallah, as well as Saeed Mamoun Abadi from Ya`bad, and Uday Stiti from Kafr Qoud, after they raided and searched their homes and tampered with their contents.

In the same context, the Israeli occupation forces intensified their military presence, northeast of Jenin.

The Israeli occupation forces abducted, at dawn on Monday, 6 citizens from Nablus governorate .

Security sources told reporters with the Wafa news agency that the Israeli occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods of the city, and abducted Ihab Abu Duhair, from Al-Maajeen neighborhood, after raiding and searching his house.

The Israeli occupation forces also abducted the Palestinian, Yazan Aslan, after storming and searching his house in the 15th Street area. They also raided the old and new Askar refugee camps, and abducted Mohammad Ammar Sharia and Youssef Al-Ashqar.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Beita, south of Nablus, and abducted the Palestinian civilians Hamdan Hamayel and Abdullah Khudair from their homes after ransacking the homes and terrorizing the families that had been sleeping when the troops invaded.

The Israeli occupation forces abducted, at dawn Monday, 5 Palestinian civilians from Hebron governorate.

The Wafa correspondent reported that the occupation forces raided the house of the head of the Bar Association, Suhail Ashour Al-Ajlouni, in Hebron, abducted his son, lawyer Fahd, and seized 280,000 shekels and his private vehicle, noting that his son Osama has been detained for about a month.

Security sources stated that the occupation forces also abducted Adham al-Atrash, from the city of Hebron, after searching his house. They also wreaked extensive damage to several houses in the city, whose owners were identified as Idris Awad Ghaith .

Ratib al-Jubour, the coordinator of the Popular Committees to Resist the Wall and Settlements, south of Hebron, told WAFA that the occupation forces raided Khirbet Sha’b al-Batem in Masafer Yatta, near the settlement of Avi Gal, which is established on Palestinian civilians’ lands, and searched several homes belonging to the Jabarin family, and abducted Khalil Ishaq Mahmoud. Al-Jabareen (32 years old) and Ismael Ishaq Mahmoud Al-Jabareen (29 years old), and they were taken to an unknown destination .

The occupation forces also raided the town of Surif, northwest of Hebron, and abducted university student Ahmed Thabet Abu Khudair after searching his house and tampering with its contents .

The troops also stormed the Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, and raided a house in the camp.

Security sources told Wafa that the occupation forces raided the house of journalist Osama Al-Aissa in search of his son Basil, and tampered with its contents.

The sources added that clashes broke out in Al-Walaja neighborhood between local Palestinians, who came out to the streets to challenge the Israeli military invasion, and the occupation forces, who fired tear gas and sound bombs.

Pre-dawn raids are a daily occurrence throughout the West Bank, when Israeli troops invade Palestinian areas and snatch Palestinians (mostly young men suspected of throwing stones or otherwise resisting the Israeli occupation) from their beds and take them to military bases for so-called ‘harsh interrogation’. Most are then held in so-called ‘administrative detention’ without charges for days, weeks or months on end before being released.
