RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least 13 Palestinians throughout the occupied West Bank during predawn raids on Thursday.
According to the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS), Israeli forces detained two Palestinians from the southern West Bank district of Hebron. They were identified as Nadim Bassam Faqouse and Ali Taleb al-Haroub.
In the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, one Palestinian was detained; he was identified as Samih Moussa Nuwwara, 20, son of Palestinian prisoner Moussa Nuwwara.
In the central West Bank district of Jerusalem, Israeli forces had detained a Jerusalemite woman late Wednesday; PPS identified her as Sabrin Abu Sneineh.
In the central West Bank district of Jericho, two Palestinians were detained. They were identified as Ahmad Khalil Sheikh Ibrahim and Khalil Jamal Sheikh Ibrahim.
In the Qalandiya refugee camp, in central West Bank district of Ramallah, two Palestinians were detained. PPS identified them as Kamal Hozein, 26, and Ali Khaled Hamad, 23.
In the northern West Bank district of Qalqiliya, one Palestinian was detained and identified as Mahmoud Shreim.
In the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem, PPS confirmed the detention of four Palestinians.
The four detainees were identified as Usama Jawdat, 33, Khalid Muhammad Ajlouni, 30, Walid Muhammad Ajlouni, 27, and Ali Muhammad Abu Bakr, 30.
According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,820 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons, of whom 63 are female prisoners.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that Israel soldiers abducted, overnight until dawn hours Thursday, seventeen Palestinians from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
The PPS said the soldiers stormed and violently searched many homes, causing damage, and interrogated several Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
The soldiers also installed roadblocks, before stopping and searching dozens of cars, and were extensively deployed in many Palestinian communities.
In related news, the soldiers invaded and caused damage to many homes in Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem, and fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs at local protesters.
In Hebron, in southern West Bank, the soldiers summoned Islam Khatib Tamimi for interrogation, after storming and searching his home, in addition to invading the home of former political prisoner, Zeid Shaker al-Juneidi, and the home of Jamal al-Jabal, before confiscating cash during violent searches.

Kamal Hazeen, 26, Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem.
Ali Khaled Hamad, 23, Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem.

Israeli Soldiers Abduct Seven Palestinians In The West Bank

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers abducted, at dawn Thursday, at least seven Palestinians from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
The PPS said dozens of soldiers invaded Qaffin town, northeast of Tulkarem in northern West Bank, before storming and ransacking homes, and abducted four Palestinians, identified as Osama Jawdat, 33, Khaled Mohammad Ajjouli, 30, Waleed Mohammad Ajjouli, 27, and Ali Mohammad Abu Bakr, 30.
In Qalqilia, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mahmoud Shreim from his home.
The soldiers also invaded Bethlehem, and abducted Sameeh Mousa Nawawra, 20, the son of Mousa Nawawra, a political prisoner serving a life sentence in Israeli prisons.
In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers also invaded and searched homes, and abducted Nadim Bassam Faqqousa, 20, after repeatedly assaulting him, causing cuts and bruises.
In Hebron city, the soldiers invaded the home of Islam Khatib Tamimi, and searched the property, before summoning him for interrogation in Etzion military base and security center, north of the city.
