RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least nine Palestinians, including a minor, across the occupied West Bank, on predawn Sunday.
Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS) confirmed that Israeli forces detained three Palestinians in the Tuqu village, in the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem. They were identified as Wael Mujahed Issa, Mourad Sami Jabrin, Muhammad Salim Abu Mufrah.
In the Issawiya neighborhood, in the central West Bank district of Jerusalem, another three were detained. PPS identified them as Adam Abu Riyaleh, Alaa Amjad Atyah, and Salah Ghassan Abid.
PPS said at the Qalandiya military checkpoint, in the central West Bank district of Ramallah, two Palestinians were detained. They were identified as Muhammad Awni Aslan, 16, and Abed al-Malik Abu Latifa, 19.
In the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem, one Palestinian was detained and identified as Louay Yousef al-Zarikiya, 23.
According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,450 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons, including 215 minors, 43 of whom under 16 years old.

Israeli soldiers abducted, late on Saturday at night and on Sunday at dawn, six young Palestinian men, from their homes, in Bethlehem and Jerusalem, and two at the Qalandia terminal, north of Jerusalem, in the occupied West Bank.
Media sources in Bethlehem said the soldiers invaded Teqoua’ town, southeast of the city, before storming and ransacking homes, and abducted two Palestinians.
They added that the abducted Palestinians have been identified as Mohammad Salim Abu Mfarreh, 18, and Morad Sami Jibreel.
The soldiers also invaded homes in the al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, and abducted Mojahed Wael Issa, 22.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers invaded the al-‘Isawiya town, before invading and searching homes, and abducted three young man, identified as Adam Ma’moun Abu Ryala, Ali Amjad Atiyya and Saleh Ghassan Obeid.
On Saturday at night, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Awni Aslan, 16, Abed Hasan Abu Latifa, 19, after stopping them at the Qalandia terminal, north of occupied Jerusalem, reportedly for “carrying sharp objects.”
