RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- The Israeli military court of Ofer released on Wednesday a Palestinian journalist, Ali Dar Ali, 34, after being held in detention for 28 days.
Palestinian Prisoners and Former Prisoners Affairs' Committee confirmed that Ali Dar Ali was released from the Israeli Ofer prison in the central occupied West Bank district of Ramallah around midnight.
He was released upon paying a bail of 2,500 shekels ($698).
Dar Ali is a reporter for Palestine TV and was detained from his home in the Burham village in northern Ramallah, during predawn detention raids on August 15th.
The Israeli authorities detained and accused Dar Ali of incitement via his social media pages, which includes writing on social media and photographing Israeli soldiers.
While Dar Ali was detained, Palestine TV strongly condemned Ali's detention, adding that it is part of Israel's policy of targeting the Palestinian media.
