JERUSALEM, October 18, 2011 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers Tuesday arrested Fatah Revolutionary Council member, Dimitri Diliani, and interrogated him in the Russian Compound in Jerusalem, said Fatah movement.
Fatah condemned the arrest of Diliani and accused Israel of pursuing national Palestinian leaders and pressuring the movement.
The National Christian Coalition in the Holy Land, whose president is Diliani, condemned his arrest and said it is part of Israel's oppressive policy against both Muslim and Christian Palestinians.
The Eastern Orthodox Council of Jerusalem also condemned Diliani's arrest, calling for Christian organizations around the world to help secure his release.
