JERUSALEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained four Palestinian teenagers in East Jerusalem overnight Sunday, the Palestinian Prisoner's Society said.

The group told Ma'an that Muhammad Muheisin and Layth al-Husseini, both 15, were detained in raids in the Shufat and Silwan neighborhoods overnight and taken to an Israeli court on Monday to extend their detention.

Muhammad al-Abbasi, 18, and Muhammad Bujah, also 18, were detained in Silwan. Both teenagers were assaulted during the arrest and their families have not yet been notified as to which detention center they were taken to.
