TULKAREM, (PIC)-- IOF troops on Thursday arrested Sheikh Laith Attili, Imam of the Ali Ibn Abu Taleb Mosque, in the village of Attil in the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem, according to Ahrar centre for prisoners’ studies.

The Ahrar centre was told by a source close to Attili that he received a phone call summoning him to the Israeli intelligence office at the Hawwara military camp and when he went there he was arrested by the IOF which informed his family of his detention.

Sheikh Attili was detained by the Israeli occupation on several occasions and spent spells in occupation jails.
