NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained eight Palestinians in the occupied West Bank overnight Tuesday, locals and Israel's army said.
Israeli forces raided the Nablus village of Tell and detained five people, witnesses told Ma'an.
Ten people were issued summons orders to report to Israeli intelligence headquarters in Huwwara military base.
Waleed Hassan Awad, Mahmoud Hassan Hindi, Sulaiman Hamas, Hamed Awad Ramadan and Issa Hamed Ramadan were identified as those detained.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said eight people were detained overnight, four in the Nablus area, three in Beit Awa, and one in Beit Ummar.
Israel's military routinely arrests Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, usually on the pretext of security questioning.

HEBRON (Ma’an) – Israeli forces raided the town of Beit Ummar north of Hebron in the southern West Bank early Wednesday morning and detained a young Palestinian man.
A spokesman of a local committee against Israel’s separation wall and settlement activities, Muhammad Ayyad Awad, identified the detainee as Imam Thiab Awad, 21.
He highlighted that Israeli soldiers ransacked Awad’s family home after midnight and messed up its interior before they took him to an unknown destination.
