Israeli soldiers invaded, on Thursday at dawn, the West Bank Districts of Hebron, Bethlehem, Tulkarem and Ramallah, broke into and searched several homes, and kidnapped eleven residents. The army also desecrated a mosque in Ithna, near Hebron.
The Ahrar Center for Detainees Studies and Human Rights reported that the army invaded Birzeit city near Ramallah, and kidnapped one resident identified as Abdul-Rahman Yacoub, 19.
The Center added that another resident, identified as Wadee' Abdul-Hamid Dar al-Issa, 22, was kidnapped in Kufr Ein nearby village.
The army invaded Ithna town, west of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and attacked the local Ahmad Yassin mosque. Soldiers broke into the mosque and violently searched it, causing damage to its property.
Furthermore, the army invaded the al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, and kidnapped Mohammad Khaled al-Jundy, 18, and Ahmad at-Teety, 19, after breaking into their homes and searching them.
The army also kidnapped Mahmoud Ali Ghneimat, 17, from Surif town north of Hebron, as he was walking near the Ibrahimi mosque in Hebron.
Soldiers also invaded Bethlehem and kidnapped five youths from Beit Fajjar town, south of the city.
The five kidnapped residents were identified as Alaa’ Nasri Taqatqa, 18; Ihsan Hameed Taqatqa, 18; Hamza Mahmoud Taqatqa, 20; Mohammad Ibrahim Taqatqa, 22; and Mohammad Majed Ibrahim, 19.
In addition to the arrests in Beit Fajjar, the army invaded as-Saff Street, in Bethlehem, and the nearby city of Beit Jala, and interrogated several residents while inspecting their ID cards.
In Tulkarem city, in the northern part of the West Bank. The soldiers kidnapped one resident after breaking into his home, early on Thursday at dawn, and searching it. The resident was identified as Osama Sami al-Ashqar, 22.
It is worth mentioning that the army invaded several other areas in the occupied West Bank, searched several homes and interrogated a number of residents while inspecting their I.D. cards.
Thursday’s kidnappings and invasions are part of Israel’s ongoing assaults against the Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian territories.
