NABLUS (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces raided the northern West Bank village of Beita and detained two young men early Monday morning.
Locals told Ma’an that five Israeli military vehicles stormed the village around 1:30 a.m.
They ransacked several homes before detaining 20-year-old Mujahid Fayiz Bani Shamsa and 20-year-old Yasser Fawzi Shamsa.
An Israeli army spokeswoman confirmed the detentions.
A day earlier, two Palestinians were detained in nearby Einabus village after Molotov cocktails were thrown at Israeli cars in the area.
Beita and Einabus lie south of Nablus, near the central highway route 60, and adjacent to two Israeli settlements.
