A group of settlers from the illegal “Hermesh” colony, west of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank, kidnapped, Tuesday night, a Palestinian former prisoner Maher Sati Abu al-Rub from the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, according to security sources.

It was reported that the colonizers beat the former prisoner while he was in the vicinity of the “Hermesh” settlement, and handed him over to the army.

It was added that Palestinians protested the invasion of Rummana, and armed Palestinian resistance fighters targeted the “Dotan” checkpoint, southwest of Jenin. There were no reports of any injuries.

Also in the northern West Bank, the army stormed the villages of Deir al-Hatab and Iraq Burin, in the Nablus governorate, where local Palestinian youths confronted the invading army.

In the central occupied West Bank town of Ni’lin, west of Ramallah, Israeli soldiers stormed and searched, on Wednesday, the home of Ihab Al-Khawaja, before abducting him.

Furthermore, Israeli soldiers invaded and searched the homes of two Palestinian former prisoners, Montaser Al-Sheikh and Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, from Biddu town, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, before abducting them.

In the Al-‘Isawiya neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem, Israeli troops stormed and searched the home of Amir Abu Sneineh, before abducting him.

In the southern part of the West Bank, in the Bethlehem governorate, occupation soldiers invaded the Dheisheh refugee camp, southwest of Bethlehem, and invaded the homes of Muhammad Marouf Al-Atrash, 20, Wissam Ali Abu Rizk, 22, and Khalil Muhammad Abu Alia, 20, before abducting them.

Soldiers also stormed Al-Khader town, southwest of the city, and invaded the home of Mustafa Ibrahim Da’amsa, 27, before abducting him.

It was reported that Palestinian youths protested the incursion, which the army responded to by firing live ammunition, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades at the youths, without causing injuries.
