Israeli soldiers abducted, Friday, a Palestinian man at the main entrance of Beit Ummar town, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
Media activist Mohammad Awad said the soldiers installed a sudden military roadblock at the entrance of the town, stopped and searched many cars, and abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Ismael Ahmad Hawamda, 32.
He added that the soldiers handcuffed and blindfolded the Palestinian man, before placing him in one of the vehicles and took him to an unknown location.
It is worth mentioning that Hawamda was heading back home after visiting with his brother in Beit Ummar.
Hawamda is a former political prisoner who was held by Israel for more than ten years.
on Friday afternoon, the soldiers injured many Palestinians near occupied Jerusalem, and abducted a young man in the city.
On Friday at dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted nine Palestinians, including one child, from several parts of the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem.
