On Wednesday night, Israeli soldiers shot six young Palestinian men during protests in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron city, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Local media activist Mohammad Awad stated that the soldiers shot two Palestinians, 17 and 24 years of age, with live fire and four with rubber-coated steel bullets.

Awad added that the medics provided the needed treatment to the wounded Palestinians and transferred two, who were shot with live fire, to a hospital in the city.

The attacks occurred when the soldiers invaded the town’s center in the evening and started firing at dozens of Palestinians marching in solidarity with the Shu’fat refugee camp in Jerusalem, subject to ongoing invasions and strict siege.
