Israeli soldiers abducted, on Saturday at dawn, two young Palestinian men in Jerusalem and Nablus, in the occupied West Bank. The army also detained several Palestinians while trying to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem to perform Friday prayers.
Eyewitnesses said the soldiers abducted one Palestinian, identified as Ehab Abu Sneina, while he was leaving the Al-Aqsa Mosque after performing dawn prayers.
They added that the soldiers, and the police, prevented hundreds of Muslim Palestinians from entering the holy site.
On Friday at noon, the Israeli police prevented hundreds of Palestinians from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque and detained five of them.
The police also fired stun grenades at the Palestinians to force them away, in addition to physically assaulting many of them near the holy site.
In addition, the soldiers invaded Beit Furik town, southeast of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, before storming and violently searching the home of Ahmad Nasasra, causing excessive damage, and abducted him.
