On Friday dawn, Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with Israeli soldiers who invaded Tubas in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part.
Media sources said several military vehicles invaded several neighborhoods and main areas of the city after isolating it.
They added that the soldiers stormed and ransacked homes and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
The soldiers also occupied the rooftops of several buildings and used them as monitoring towers and firing posts, leading to protests.
Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading soldiers in several parts of the city.
The exchanges of fire started mainly in the eastern area of Tubas when many armored military vehicles invaded it from that direction.
In related news, the soldiers invaded Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, and abducted a young man, Amer Abu Al-Hamam, from his home.
The soldiers also invaded the Shu’fat refugee camp north of Jerusalem, leading to protests, and closed the Shu’fat military roadblock, in addition to spraying many homes and streets with wastewater mixed with chemicals.
