Israeli troops manning a military checkpoint in the northern West Bank kidnapped on Friday afternoon Bara’ Jabir, from Jenin refugee camp.
Jabir was trying to cross an Israeli military checkpoint near the Palestinian town of Yaboud when he was detained and kidnaped by troops, the Palestinian Political Detainees Society reported.
The Palestinian Political Detainees Society added that Jabir was released recently from Israeli military prison. Currently Israel holds at least 5000 Palestinian political detainees in military detention centers, 180 of those detainees are children.
