TUBAS (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces demolished eight Palestinian-owned structures, on Tuesday, in the Ras al-Ahmar area, southeast of the Tubas district, in the northern Jordan Valley.
According to Aref Daraghmeh, who monitors Israeli settlement activities in the area, said that Israeli forces raided the area and demolished eight Palestinian-owned structures, including residential buildings, health facilities, and an animal barn.
The animal barn measured 350-square-meters.
Daraghmeh added that Israeli forces also destroyed water tanks in the Ras al-Ahmar area.
The Jordan Valley forms a third of the occupied West Bank, with 88% of its land classified as Area C -- under full Israeli military control.
International rights organizations consider the continuation of the Israeli campaign which targets Palestinians in the Jordan Valley, whether through confiscations, demolitions or evictions under the pretext of holding military exercises, as a violation of international humanitarian law.
