RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least 28 Palestinians from across the occupied West Bank, during raids on predawn Wednesday.
The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said that Israeli forces detained three Palestinians from the southern West Bank district of Hebron; they were identified as former prisoner Muhammad Ahmad al-Titi, Jawad Ziad Khalil Hadib and Tareq al-Sayyid Ahmad.
In the Bethlehem district in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces detained two Palestinians identified as Munir al-Jaafari and Hamza al-Jaafari.
Meanwhile in East Jerusalem in the central West Bank, Israeli forces detained at least 15 Palestinians and delivered summon notices to five others in the Issawiya town.
The detainees were identified as Muhammad Aziz Ubeid, Rami Ismat Ubeid, Abed Khalid Naaji, Taha Ayesh Ubeid, Karam Muhammad Elayyan, Muhammad Sultan Ubeid, Zaki Sultan Ubeid, Saber Shaaban Ubeid, Saleh Abu Assab, Muhammad Marie Dirbas, Qassem Munir Dirbas, Muhammad Ahmad Abu Riyaleh, Ayyoub Naim Hamdan, Haroun Muhammad Mheisen and Qussai Jamal Musbah.
Three Palestinians were detained from the central West Bank district of Ramallah and al-Bireh; PPS identified them as Khalid Kamel Nawabit, 40, Mahmoud Ahmad Rayyan, 24, and Eid Dahadha.
Israeli forces also detained three Palestinians from the northern West Bank districts of Tulkarem and Jenin; they were identified as Amjad Jihad al-Ashqar, 22, from the Saida town in Tulkarem, and Razin Bilal al-Damj and Muhammad Khalil Arsan from the Jenin refugee camp.
Two Palestinians were detained from the Tubas district, also in the northern West Bank, they were identified as Rashid Ziad Daraghmeh and Maysara Thiab Bisharat.
According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,554 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons, of whom 51 are female prisoners, 230 are child prisoners and 41 are under the age of 16 years.

Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded, on Wednesday at dawn, the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, and conducted very violent searches of homes, before abducting two Palestinians, and wounding two others, including one who suffered serious injuries, during ensuing protests.
Media sources said the soldiers surrounded the home of No’man Abu ‘Ashour, and used loudspeakers ordering his son, Issa, to turn himself in to the army, but he apparently was not there.
They added that dozens of youngsters protested the invasion and hurled stones and Molotov cocktails at the armored military vehicles, while the army fire live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs and concussion grenades.
During the invasion and ensuing protests, the soldiers moderately injured Mohammad Ra’ed Shamrookh, 19, after shooting him with a live round in the chest.
Another Palestinian was shot with a rubber-coated steel bullet in his leg, and several others suffered the effects of teargas inhalation.
The soldiers also invaded and searched homes, before abducting Hamza Khalil al-Ja’fari, 21, and Monir Khaled al-Ja’fari, 21.
In its worth mentioning that a Palestinian car, owned by Ma’moun Naji, was burnt after the soldiers fired a gas bomb at it.

Israeli Soldiers Abduct Five Palestinians in Tubas, Jenin, And Hebron

The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers abducted, on Wednesday at dawn, two Palestinians in Tubas governorate, in northeastern West Bank, two in Jenin, in northern West Bank, and one in Hebron, in the southern part.
The Jenin office of the PPS said the soldiers invaded and violently searched many homes in Jenin refugee camp, and abducted two young men, identified as Razeen Bilal ad-Damj and Mohammad Khalil ‘Ersan.
It added that many Palestinians protested the invasion, and hurled stones at the soldiers who fired flares, gas bombs and concussion grenades.
Furthermore, the soldiers searched a few homes, and abducted Rashid Ziad Daraghma, from Tubas city, in northeastern West Bank, and Maisara Thiab Bisharat, from Tammoun town, south of Tubas.
It is worth mentioning that, on Tuesday at night, several Palestinians suffered the effects of teargas inhalation, and a few others suffered fractures, cuts and bruises, during protests that took place after the soldiers invaded Tammoun.
In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers also searched homes in the city, in addition to Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, and Beit Awwa town, west of the city.
During the home invasions, the soldiers abducted Tareq Sayyed Ahmad, from al-Hawouz area in Hebron, and searched the home of Bilal Salim Salhab.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers abducted at least twenty Palestinians, in addition to summoning two others for interrogation, after invading and ransacking their homes and several buildings in the al-‘Isawiya town in occupied Jerusalem, and summoned two others for interrogation.
In related news, Israeli colonialist settlers invaded Palestinian farmlands in ‘Asira al-Qibliya town, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and uprooted them, while the soldiers cut 200 cactus seedlings in the Jordan Valley.
