Description
JERUSALEM (Ma'an) -- An Israeli court in Jerusalem ruled, on Thursday, to release 21 Fatah activists under strict conditions.

According to Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) lawyer, Mufid al-Sheikh, said that the released Fatah activists, who are residents from occupied East Jerusalem, were placed under house arrest for five days and banned from entry to the occupied West Bank for 14 days.

The released activists also have to post a $270 bail, another $1346 bail by a third party, and sign a personal bail of $1346.

Earlier this week, Israeli forces detained the Palestinian Governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Ghaith, and dozens of Fatah activists.

Al-Sheikh mentioned that Ghaith and 11 more Fatah activists still remain in custody awaiting trial.
