BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces shot and injured a Palestinian woman, on Tuesday, who allegedly attempted to carry out a stabbing attack against an Israeli soldier at a gas station near the illegal Israeli settlement of Kfar Adumim, east of Jerusalem.
According to Hebrew-language news outlets, Israeli forces received a report about a suspicious Palestinian woman, who was carrying a knife near a falafel stand in the gas station, and was reportedly requested to leave, however, she refused.
Israeli forces arrived to find that the woman had left, after conducting a search, the woman was found in a nearby area shortly after.
Sources added that as Israeli forces began the procedure to detain the woman, she pulled out a pair of scissors and ran towards them yelling in Arabic.
Israeli forces shot and injured the woman, causing her to fall to the ground.
Medical sources confirmed that the Palestinian woman is a 37-year-old resident from Yatta City, in the southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron, and was transferred to the HaDassah Medical Center - Mount Scopus to receive medical treatment.
