NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Israeli settlers opened fire on a Palestinian home, on Monday evening, in the Burqa village in the northern occupied West Bank district of Nablus.
Ghassan Daghlas, an official who monitors settlement activity in the northern West Bank, told Ma'an that Israeli settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Homesh opened fire near a Palestinian home on the main street of the village; the house belongs to local Jamal Rida Seif.
The Seif family suffered panic attacks during the incident, however, no injuries were reported.
Daghlas confirmed that Israeli settlers withdrew from the village towards the Homesh illegal settlement afterwards.
The majority of settler attacks committed against Palestinians are met with impunity, with Israelis rarely facing consequences for such attacks.
