Illegal Israeli colonizers set fire, on Sunday evening, to Palestinian-owned agricultural lands and a home in the village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that a group of Israeli settlers from the “Homesh” colony, under the protection of the occupation army, hurled burning tires towards homes in areas north of the village, causing agricultural lands to catch fire.
Later it was reported that Israeli colonizers stormed the outskirts of the village and set fire to a Palestinian-owned home.
According to Dirar Abu Omar, the head of the Burqa Village Council, several colonial settlers from the illegal “Homesh” colony hurled Molotov cocktails at the home of Raed Yassin Hajjah.
Abu Omar added that parts of the home were burned before local citizens were able to extinguish the fire.
