HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces demolished a Palestinian-owned room, steel structure along with two toilets on the outskirts of Yatta City in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, on predawn Monday.

Rateb Jbour, coordinator of the National and Popular Committee in southern Hebron, said that Israeli forces demolished a room in the Quweis area of the city, saying it belonged to resident, Youssef Muhammad Abu Aram.

Jbour confirmed that Israeli forces also demolished a steel structure along with two toilets, in the Zawaydin area, which belonged to resident Salameh al-Timin and his brother.

In Area C, the more than 60 percent of the West Bank under full Israeli security and civilian control, Palestinian construction and land management is prohibited unless through consent or authorization by the Israeli Civil Administration.

Nearly all Palestinian applications for building permits in Area C are denied by the Israeli authorities, forcing communities to build illegally.
