Description
NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Israeli settlers destroyed, on predawn Friday, two hundred olive trees in the al-Lubban al-Sharqiya village in southern Nablus of the northern West Bank.
Ghassan Daghlas, an official who monitors settlement activity in the northern West Bank, told Ma'an that Israeli settlers from the nearby illegal Eli settlement completely destroyed some two hundred 10-year-old olive trees, in the Wadi Ali area of the village, belonging to a Palestinian identified as Nael Awayseh.
Daghlas said that Palestinian owners of the olive-tree field discovered the destroyed trees on Friday morning after Israeli settlers had carried out the attack overnight.
