Israeli forces detained at least nine Palestinians from across the occupied West Bank on predawn Thursday.
According to the Palestinians Prisoner's Society (PPS), Israeli forces carried out predawn raids onThursday in the Beit Ummar village in southern West Bank district of Hebron.
During the Hebron raids, Israeli forces detained three former Palestinian prisoners; PPS identified them as Abed al-Nasser Abu Maria, 22, Alaa Sabarneh, 21, and Abdullah Muhammad Abu Maria, 20.
Sources said that Israeli forces found and confiscated weapons and large amounts of money in the Hebron district.
In the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, two Palestinians were detained; locals identified one as Sami Salem al-Sabbah from the Tuqu town in southeastern Bethlehem, while the other was identified as Hafeth Daoud Thweib.
In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, three Palestinians were detained; they were identified as Murad Youssef Qindah, Tareq Ziad Abu Shkheidem and Khalid Nidal Akleh.
In the northern West Bank district of Qalqiliya, Israeli forces detained one Palestinian, who was identified as Ibrahim Khalil Miskawi,22.
Israeli raids into Palestinian towns and villages are near daily occurrence in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
