BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least three Palestinians from areas across the West Bank in predawn raids on Thursday.
Israeli soldiers detained two Palestinian youths from the Aida refugee camp in northern Bethlehem.
Locals identified the detainees as Muath Muhammad Abu Aker, 25, and Ahmad Marie Daamseh; the two were detained after Israeli forces raided and searched their family homes.
Sources in the Nur Shams refugee camp of eastern Tulkarem said that Israeli forces had raided the refugee camp and detained one Palestinian youth identified as Baraa Fathi Qaraawi.
The Israeli Shin Bet had declared on Wednesday that they detained a Palestinian suspected of dropping a marble slab that caused the death of an Israeli soldier in the al-Amaari refugee camp in the Ramallah and al-Bireh district.
The Palestinian was identified as Islam Youssef Abu Hmeid, 32; Abu Hmeid was detained after Israeli forces raided the refugee camp which caused clashes to erupt.
Nine Palestinians, including Abu Hmeid’s mother, were injured during clashes.
Israeli military raids into Palestinian cities, towns, and refugee camps are a near daily occurrence.

Israeli soldiers abducted, on Thursday at dawn, two young Palestinian men from ‘Aida refugee camp, north of Bethlehem, and one in Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem, after searching their homes.
Media sources in Bethlehem said dozens of soldiers invaded ‘Aida refugee camp, before storming and violently searching homes, and abducted Moath Mohammad Abu ‘Aker, 25, and Ahmad Mer’ey Da’amsa.
In addition, the soldiers invaded homes in Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem, and abducted Bara’ Fathi Qar’awi.
The soldiers also invaded Bal’a town, east of Tulkarem and searched at least one home before withdrawing.

Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded, on Thursday at dawn, Jenin refugee camp, in the northern West Bank city of Jenin, abducted a child and rammed a young man with one of their jeeps, during protests against the invasion.
The soldiers invaded and searched many homes in the refugee camp, and abducted a child, identified as Luay Emad ‘Amer, 16.
They added that many youngsters protested the invasion, and hurled stones at the military jeeps, and added that the soldiers fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades; many Palestinians suffered the effects of teargas inhalation.
Medical sources said the soldiers rammed a young man, identified as Ali Mohammad Taleb, with their jeep, causing various cuts and bruises, before he was rushed to Khalil Suleiman Hospital, in Jenin city.
