JERUSALEM, December 20, 2011 (WAFA) – Israeli bulldozers Tuesday demolished barracks in Thawri neighborhood in Silwan in East Jerusalem, according to witnesses.They said a large number of Israeli soldiers and police, accompanied by bulldozers, surrounded these barracks and demolished them in order to establish a parking lot for Jewish settlers in the area.
In a related matter, Israeli forces surrounded Sawwanah neighborhood and razed a playing field of al-Ibrahimiya College, in order to establish the Israeli National Security College on land belonging to Palestinians.
