RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israel’s Ofer Military Court ruled on Monday to extended the detention of a wounded Palestinian teenager until December 11, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

PPS lawyer Akram Samara said in a statement that Ibrahim Karajeh, 17, from the Halhul town in the southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron, who was shot by Israeli forces on November 17, was brought into the court on Monday in a wheelchair.

Karajeh, who was accused of carrying out a car-ramming attack on Israelis in the area, was shot in his shoulder and leg.

The court extended his remand under the pretext of “continued interrogation.”

According to Samara, the teenager was kept in the hospital for two weeks, and is need of a hip-replacement surgery.
