NEGEV, (PIC)-- IOF troops on Wednesday morning raided the villages of Beir Hadag and al-Sharkeyya in the Negev in 1948-occupied Palestine accompanied by large bulldozers and razed a number of Palestinian homes.

Local sources said that occupation bulldozers demolished a number of homes as well as other structures including sheds at the pretext of lack of planning permits.

The sources added that the occupation authorities gave notice to the residents of the village of Wadi al-Neam to evacuate their homes as the village is going to be demolished. The nearby village of Um al-Hairan is also to be demolished by the occupation as part of a plan to evacuate the Negev of its Palestinian population.
