Israeli soldiers abducted, on Sunday at dawn, four Palestinians from the West Bank governorate of Bethlehem, after the army invaded and searched many homes. The soldiers also invaded homes near Jenin, in northern West Bank, and summoned four Palestinians for interrogation.
Media sources in Bethlehem said the soldiers invaded and ransacked a few homes in Deheishe refugee camp, south of the city, and abducted Wael Khalil Atallah, 23, in addition to Omran Issa Ma’ali, and his brother ‘Ala.
Many Palestinian youngsters hurled stones and empty bottles at the invading soldiers who fired many live rounds, gas bombs and concussion grenades.
The soldiers also invaded Teqoua’ town, east of Bethlehem, and abducted Mohannad Hussein Abdul-Jalil, 20, from his home.
In related news, the soldiers invaded Kafr Dan town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and summoned Mohammad Mohyeddin Salah, Maher Hani ‘Aabed, Bara’ Mohammad ‘Aabed and Ahmad Abdul-Rahman ‘Aabed, for interrogation in Salem military base, after breaking into their homes and searching them.
The soldiers also invaded Zabbouba village, west of Jenin, and invaded into the home of Mohammad Ali Jaradat, before violently searching it.

HEBRON (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces detained at least eight Palestinians and searched several homes, allegedly finding weapons, during predawn raids Sunday in the occupied West Bank.
An Israeli army spokesperson told Ma’an that eight Palestinians were detained overnight in the West Bank. The spokesperson did not provide the details of the locations where the Palestinians were detained from.
Meanwhile, official Palestinian Authority-owned Wafa news agency reported that Israeli forces raided a number of towns and neighborhoods in the southern West Bank Hebron district, where they allegedly found weapons.
According to Wafa, Israeli forces raided the town of Beit Awwa and inspected a house, where they claimed they found a weapon.
Forces also raided and inspected a homes in the towns of Beit Ummar, al-Dhahiriya and al-Samu. Soldiers reportedly used police dogs during the raids.
The Israeli army said they would look into the raids in Hebron.
According to United Nations documentation, Israeli forces conducted 166 search and arrest operations across the West Bank between October 24 and November 26.
Meanwhile, prisoners’ rights group Addameer recorded 6,198 Palestinians were detained by Israel as of October. The group has estimated that some 40 percent of Palestinian men will be detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
