TUBAS (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces confiscated agricultural tractors and a truck belonging to Palestinian residents in villages in the northern occupied West Bank Tubas district, in the northern Jordan Valley on Monday morning.
Muataz Bisharat, who monitors settlement-related activities in the Jordan Valley, told Ma'an that Israeli civil administration authorities under the protection of Israeli army forces raided the village of Ibziq and confiscated two agricultural tractors owned by Nimr Moussa Hroub and Mithqal Fayez Naghnaghiyeh.
Bisharat added that Israeli forces also raided an area on the outskirts of Ibziq in the village of al-Aqaba and confiscated a truck owned by Hussein Ibrahim Masaed.
He noted that Israeli forces took the confiscated vehicles to the Israeli Nahil Oz military base.
A spokesperson for COGAT, the Israeli agency responsible for implementing Israeli policy in the occupied Palestinian territory, responded to a request for comment Tuesday, saying that the tractors were "endangering human life" and were obtained "without the approvals from the relevant authorities."
