A Palestinian man stabbed two Israelis in the coastal city of Netanya on Thursday before an armed civilian shot him down, in the second stabbing attack of the day.
The two wounded, a 40-year-old ultra-Orthodox man in and a 62-year-old woman were rushed to receive medical care in moderate and light conditions.
The assailant was identified as 46-year-old Wa'il Abu Saleh, a resident of Tulkarm, a Palestinian village just east of Netanya in the West Bank.
Police forces began searching for a possible accomplice whom they suspect of transporting the assailant to the scene before the attack. A helicopter was also participating in the search.
Magen David Adom paramedics said they arrived on the scene at the corner of Sheshet HaYamim and Shoham streets to find a group of civilians attempting to stop the man's bleeding. Others carried the woman in out of the nearby open-air market with stab wounds in her back.
Earlier Thursday morning, a 13-year-old Israeli girl was stabbed and killed by a Palestinian attacker while she slept in her home in the West Bank settlement of Kiryat Arba. An Israeli security guard was also wounded in the attack.

Palestinian killed after alleged stab attack in Israeli city of Netanya
JUNE 30, 2016 7:46 P.M. (UPDATED: JUNE 30, 2016 9:02 P.M.)
BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian was shot dead Thursday night by an Israeli civilian after allegedly carrying out a stabbing attack at a market in the Israeli coastal city of Netanya, which left two Israelis wounded, according to Israeli sources, making it the second incident to result in a Palestinian being killed following an attack in less than 12 hours.
Israeli media reported that the unidentified Palestinian was shot and killed immediately following the attack after an armed Israeli civilian near the scene opened fire on the young man before Israeli security forces arrived.
Spokesperson for the Israeli police Micky Rosenfeld told Ma'an that two Israelis were stabbed during the incident and confirmed initial reports that the Palestinian was from the occupied West Bank district of Tulkarem.
Israeli media reported that the assailant was 23-years-old.
According to a statement by Israeli police, the two Israelis, an Orthodox man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s, were stabbed in the upper body and are receiving treatment at Israel’s Leinado Hospital, with one suffering from moderate wounds and the other in serious condition.
The statement added that initial investigations indicated that the assailant was a young Palestinian, who was “neutralized” following the attack and pronounced dead shortly after.
A Palestinian teenager was also killed on Thursday morning in an illegal Israeli settlement in the southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron after carrying out an attack against a 13-year-old Israeli girl who later succumbed to her wounds, as one other Israeli was wounded in the case.
More than 220 Palestinians have been killed by Israelis and some 31 Israelis killed by Palestinians since the a wave of unrest first swept across the occupied Palestinian territory and Israel in October.
Rights groups have denounced what they have termed a "shoot-to-kill" policy by the Israeli forces, which they say has led to the death of numerous Palestinians who did not constitute a threat or who could have been subdued in a non-lethal manner.
This is a developing story.
