RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained 19 Palestinians from across the occupied West Bank late Sunday and early Monday, a prisoners’ group said.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society said that 13 of those detained were from the Hebron district.
The group said that detainees included Karam Masalmeh, 17, Akram Rasmi Masalmeh, 17, Saed Ibrahim Masalmeh, Samer Jamal Muhammad Zamaareh, Bahaa Issa Zamaareh, Abd al-Halim Issa Zamaareh, Moussa Ahmad al-Titi, Sharif Khader Sharif, 16, Khalid Salim Rushd, 20, and Haitham Youssef Abu Ghazi, 22, and Abla Abd al-Wahed al-Adam, 45.
Three Palestinians were detained from Tulkarem, identified as Abd al-Rahim Bassam Abu Shanab, 28, Hadi Imad al-Sader, 24, and Ihab Husseim Jayyusi.
Locals told Ma'an that Abu Shanab is both a physician and a nephew to Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah.
Saleh Muhammad al-Jeidi, 23, was detained by Israeli forces from the Duheisha refugee camp south of Bethlehem.
Dirgham Yamin, 22, was detained from the village of al-Jit in Qalqiliya and Ghaleb Sami Wardeh was detained from the Silwad village near Ramallah, the group added.
An Israeli army spokesperson was able to confirm 13 detentions, including two Palestinians from Tulkarem and one west of Nablus who were suspected for being Hamas operatives.
Six were detained from the Hebron district and three from the Ramallah area, the spokesperson added.
Around 6700 Palestinians are currently being held in Israeli jails.

In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers kidnapped four children, identified as Mousa Raed Khader, 15, Khaled Ahmad 'Oweisat, 16, Ali 'Oweisat, in addition to Yassin Qanbar, 19.
Two Palestinians, identified as Mohammad Mahmoud Shabana, and his brother Qassem, were kidnapped in Bir Nabala town, northeast of Jerusalem.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) in Jerusalem, said the soldiers also kidnapped Islam Najjar, Hamza Najjar, and Nader Nasser, in Ras al-Amoud.
