HEBRON (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces detained 15 Palestinians in overnight arrest raids across the occupied West Bank, Israel's army and locals said Thursday.
Amjad Abdul-Aziz Abu Eisha, Ali Hassan Julani, and Obada Fakhri Hashlmoun were detained in Hebron, locals said, while Nadim Rasim Ikhlayel and Muhammad Jadallah Sleibi were arrested in Beit Ummar.
Witnesses said they were taken to an unknown location.
Additionally, local Palestinian sources told Ma’an that Israeli forces raided Nablus and arrested Palestinian police officer Tayseer Ahmad Muhammad abu-Eisha 40, from Beit Wazan village west of Nablus after raiding his home.
The locals added that Israeli troops also arrested Osaid Mohammad Maala, 22 from Beita village on Hawara checkpoint, and Rami Kamal Rawajba, 32, from Asira al-Shamaliya village near Nablus after raiding his home.
An Israeli army spokesperson said 15 Palestinians were detained overnight for "illegal activity," six in Ramallah, four in Nablus, two in Bethlehem, two in Hebron and one in Jenin.
Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem are routinely arrested by Israeli military forces, usually on the pretext of security questioning.

Israeli occupation forces, Thursday, abducted at least 18 Palestinians across the occupied West Bank.
Days of Palestine sources said that a large number of Israeli forces stormed the village of Beit Ummar, broke into civilian houses and took three Palestinian citizens into custody. Witnesses spoke to Days of Palestine said that a number of Israeli military jeeps raided the city of Al-Khalil, south of the West Bank, where they took two Palestinian citizens from their beds.
Palestinian officials and popular sources said that Israeli forces stormed the cities of Ramallah, Nablus, Bethlehem and Jenin, upon which six were taken in Ramallah, four in Nablus, two in Bethlehem and one in Jenin.
Israeli forces regularly storm Palestinian cities and villages across the occupied West Bank, after giving orders to Palestinian Authority security services to withdraw from the streets and posts, and illegally seizing and detaining Palestinian citizens.
Before the eyes of PA security forces, armed Israeli settlers carry out attacks against unarmed Palestinian citizens, as with the latest aggression targeting the Dawabsha family, whose members were burnt while they were sleeping, last Friday night.
