RAMMALH (Ma’an)—Israeli forces detained a young Palestinian girl from Qalqilia on Sunday for allegedly carrying a gun, news sources say.

According to Hebrew Language news site “Walla,” the girl attempted to sneak to Israel with a gun, adding that she had admitted that she was planning a shooting attack in Israel under the guidance of Hamas movement.

An Israeli army spokesperson told Ma'an she was unable to give information on the incident because the case was currently under investigation.
