Description
JERUSALEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained a Palestinian and others were injured during a raid in the Wadi al-Joz neighborhood in Jerusalem on Tuesday.
Witnesses said that locals gathered as Israeli soldiers stopped Hisham Jarhash while he was walking in the street and pepper-sprayed him without any justification.
They added that hand-to-hand clashes erupted between locals and Israeli forces as soldiers attempted to detain Hisham Jarhash.
Israeli police forces and border guards closed the entrance of the main Wadi al-Juz road and fired stun grenades to separate gathered locals.
Mustafa Jarhash and Muhammad al-Sabbah were injured with stun grenade shrapnel.
An Israeli police spokesman said he was not familiar with the incidents.
