HEBRON, January 17, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Saturday arrested two Palestinians in the West Bank cities of Hebron and Jenin, as well as summoned a youth from Bethlehem for interrogation, according to local and security sources.
Israeli troops stormed several neighborhoods in the Hebron governorate, raiding and searching homes and arresting a youth.
Soldiers raided al-Oroub refugee camp to the north of Hebron and arrested Hussam Jawabreh, 22, after raiding and tampering with the contents of his family’s home.
Forces also stormed the village of Abu al-Asja in the southern Hebron town of Dura, raiding and wreaking havoc into several homes.
They further set up flying checkpoints at the entrances of the town of Halhoul, as-Sair, to the north, stopping passing cars and checking passengers’ identity cards.
Meanwhile in the city of Jenin, forces arrested 35-year-old Hussam Hantoli while he was present near the apartheid wall, established on land Israel illegally annexed from the village al-Jalma.
Forces also raided and searched the family home of Monthir Taqatqa, 20, in the town of Beit Fajjar to the south Bethlehem, and handed him a notice to appear before the Israeli intelligence for interrogation at Gush Etzion settlement bloc.
