QALQILYA, September 4, 2011 (WAFA) – The Salem Israeli military court Sunday sentenced Mohammad Abu Hanyyeh, 19, to 10 years in prison on charges of resisting the Israeli occupation, according to Abu Hanyyeh’s family.

In addition to the 10 years sentence, the court fined Abu Hannyeh, a resident of the West Bank town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, 2000 Israeli shekels (almost $600).

Abu Hannyeh has been in detention for four months before the court had passed its sentence, said the family.
