JERUSALEM, June 12, 2014 – (WAFA) – Israeli forces arrested on Thursday ten Palestinians from Al-‘Issawiya, a neighborhood of Jerusalem, Jenin and Qalqilya, said witnesses and security sources.
As part of the tight siege they have been imposing on Al-‘Issawiya, forces arrested five Palestinians, including three aged 19, 38 and 44 years, after breaking into their houses and stores. At least one Palestinian was arrested after he was brutally beaten by forces.
Meanwhile, forces stormed Jenin, where they arrested three Palestinians in their early twenties after breaking into and ransacking their houses.
They also arrested a 21-year-old Palestinian after breaking into and searching his horse farm in Marj Ibn Amer to the west of Jenin.
They also broke into the houses of three other Palestinians in the city, withholding the ID cards of two of them and detaining the other for several hours who was later released.
They also broke into the house of a 22-year-old Palestinian university student in ‘Anzah, a village located to the southwest of Jenin, searching and ransacking it.
Meanwhile, forces broke into a Palestinian’s house in Jenin, detaining the owner along with his family for several hours in one of the rooms while turning the house into a military post.
Meanwhile, forces set up a flying military roadblock at the entrance of Kufr Thulth, a village located to the south of Qalqilya, and arrested a 22-year-old Palestinian, who is a resident of ‘Azzoun, a village located to the west of the city.
