NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces arrested 13 Palestinians overnight Tuesday, locals and Israel's army said.
Six Fatah affiliates were detained near Birzeit University in Ramallah as Israeli soldiers raided several homes in the area, witnesses said.
Haitham Abu Radwan, coordinator of Fatah youth movement in Birzeit University, Wahib Saed, Osama al-Barghouthi, Suliman Hamayel, Mohammad Yousef, and Mohammad Hamzeh were taken to an unknown location.
Bashar Mahmud Eshtiewi, 22, Raed Taysir Barham, 21, and Omran Hikmat Ali, 17, were detained in the Qalqiliya village of Kafr Qaddum during overnight raids, Fatah official Murad Eshtiewi said.
Israeli forces also raided several villages in Nablus, detaining Anas Saad Awwad, Majdi Faisar Mahmoud Qawariq, 23, Abdul Kareem Majed Al-Halabi, 38, and Mowaffaq Hussain Hamami, 27.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said four people were detained in Kafr Qaddum, four in Nablus, and five in the Ramallah district.
