Israeli court determines release date for administrative prisoner

RAMALLAH (Ma’an) -- Chief attorney for the Palestinian Prisoners' Society told Ma’an that the Ofer Israeli court confirmed the administrative detention for prisoner Adnan Shanayta.Jawad Boulos said that the Israeli court of Ofer determined Feb. 3, 2015 would be the release date for Shanayta after 51 days of strike that ended on May 14 in an agreement with Israel to determine a date to release him.
Prisoner Shanayta, 25, from Bethlehem was previously detained and spent seven and a half years in prison.
Shanayta was detained again on Feb. 4, 2014.
