Settler’s Vehicle Rams Resident In Huwwara

Israeli soldiers invaded on Thursday, at dawn, the villages of Huwwara and Beita, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, kidnapping eight Palestinians, and caused damage to one home.

Local sources in Huwwara have reported that dozens of soldiers invaded the town, violently broke into and searched several homes, and kidnapped five Palestinians.

The five kidnapped residents have been identified as Suleiman Abdul-Rahim Abu Shihada, 31, Karam Maher Dameedy, 32, Abdul-Halim Sa’id Dameedy, 28, Abdul-Latif Sa’id Dameedy, and Khader Odah Khader, 31.

The soldiers also violently broke into the home of resident Morad Tawfiq Odah, 45, and used explosives while searching it, causing excessive property damage.

Furthermore, dozens of soldiers invaded Beita village, south of Nablus, and kidnapped three Palestinians identified as Bashir Yahia Dweikat, 20, Lu’ay Taiseer Dweikat, 17, and Salem Mustafa Hamayel, 17.

Also on Thursday, at dawn, a young Palestinian man was injured after being rammed by a settler’s vehicle on the Nablus-Huwwara road, close to the Yitzhar illegal settlements, south of Nablus.

The young man suffered several fractures and bruises, and was moved to the Nablus Governmental Hospital; the settler fled the scene.

On Wednesday evening, soldiers invaded various Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank, kidnapping four Palestinians. Several Palestinians have also been kidnapped on Wednesday, at dawn, in different parts of the West Bank.

On Wednesday evening, dozens of soldiers and employees of the Israeli Water Authority invaded Sielet al-Harithiyya town, west of Jenin, broke into and searched several homes and yards allegedly searching for water wells.

Local sources said that the invasion is the second in recent weeks; the homes and yards belong to residents Baha’ Zyoud, Mohammad Zyoud, and Ali Jaradat. The army could not locate any wells, and left the village.
