NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained three Palestinians in the West Bank overnight, security sources and an Israeli army spokeswoman said.
Palestinian security sources told Ma'an that Israeli troops detained two Palestinians in the Nablus district overnight.
Soldiers detained 31-year-old Bashir Hamid Ziyada as he was passing through Huwwara checkpoint, the sources said.
Ziyada was taken to a nearby military base.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces raided the village of Beita south of Nablus and arrested 18-year-old Yazen Issa Abd al-Muaty after ransacking his home.
An Israeli military spokeswoman said one Palestinian was detained overnight.
The arrest took place in the village of Idhna near Hebron, the spokeswoman said, without providing further details.
