The sources said that an exchange of fire took place around the home of Dhabaya before he was taken prisoner, and that several injuries have been reported.

Dhabaya and Zobeidy are former members of the Al-Aqsa Brigades, the armed wing of the Fateh movement, who have been pardoned, as part of an agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank, after the group was disbanded.
