Settlers Set Fire to Land near Hebron

HEBRON, May 13, 2013 (WAFA) – Jewish settlers Monday set fire to two dunums of Palestinian-owned agricultural land in Khirbet tuba, a locale south of Hebron, according to a local activist.

Ratib Jabour, from the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements, told WAFA that settlers from the nearby illegal settlement of Havat Ma’on set fire to two dunums of land planted with wheat belonging to Ali Awad.

He said that residents and shepherds who were at the scene put out the fire before it extended to the nearby land and houses.
